The Premier League has suspended Zwane and Sundowns

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has summoned Mamelodi Sundowns and captain Themba Zwane to appear before the Disciplinary Committee as a result of the MTN8 incident.

Zwane was involved in the event in issue, which occurred as Sundowns defeated Moroka Swallows with 10 men and he was booked for time-wasting after 30 seconds.

PSL prosecutor Zola Majavu has said that they spoke with the team on Thursday despite the controversy surrounding the game's decisive goal, which appeared to be offside.

Majavu said I can reveal that I suggested charges be brought against Mamelodi Sundowns captain Mr. Zwane and Mamelodi Sundowns as a result of the incident in the MTN8 opening game early this morning.

They were requested to appear before the PSL DC on August 24 at 11:00 a.m. because of their misconduct, which is against league rules and added around three minutes to the match's delay.

I'll provide you a final report on the outcome as soon as the issue is rectified. There will be no ongoing comments on this subject until I update formally and formally.

Sundowns must defeat Kaizer Chiefs to get to the competition's final.
