Must see: Why Orlando fans did not surprise DRC Coach

Image
Sébastien Desabre, the head coach of DR Congo, claims he wasn't shocked by the large turnout of supporters for the team against Bafana Bafana at Orlando Stadium. When Congolese fans in Orlando outnumbered locals on Tuesday afternoon, there were some unexpected incidents. Hugo Broos, the head coach of Bafana, criticized the scenes and expressed hope that support for the squad would increase, while SAFA CEO Lydia Monyapao claimed that fans were mobilized. The Frenchman, though, believes that for many of them, it was simply an opportunity to witness some of their heroes for the first time. No… Our duty is to first and foremost make our supporters happy, he added. We know our fans, we know them. We have stars on my team and players in Europe, and these fans may have seen them for the first time. Mbemba, Bakumbu, and Kakuta, in general. And we know that with qualification for AFCON [for the first time since 2019], the last one we weren't at AFCON, and I think it's the most imp...

Interesting: Mosele is Surprised after the reunion at Chippa with Mammila

Image
At Chippa United, Goodman Mosele has said that it was nice to be reunited with Morgan Mammila as a coach. Together, they played for Baroka, who defeated Orlando Pirates in the Telkom Knockout trophy final at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in the 2018–19 season. Mosele, who transferred from Baroka to Pirates before the 2021/22 season, was signed by the Chilli Boys on a loan deal through the end of the year. Mammila claimed that when the window opened to sign Mosele, he couldn't help but jump at the chance because he knew what he was going to get after his team's season-opening draw with Kaizer Chiefs. This season, Mosele scored the equalizer as Chippa and Pirates drew a match. He skillfully twisted inside the box and fired the shot.     Seeing Morgan again, well, we know each other. It's great because I know him and he knows me, Mosele told i Diski Times. Mosele was surprised by Mammila's tactical move as the former CEO of Bakgaka while he was Chippa's CEO, with hi...

Khenyeza Will Guide Arrows in the coming PSL game

Image
According to the  iDiski Times   sources, Mabhuti Khenyeza will be in charge of Golden Arrows when they take on Stellenbosch on Saturday at 15:00 at Mpumalanga Stadium. As Vusi Vilakazi, his co-coach, suddenly quit on September 4 in order to pursue a better offer from the club's administration, sources indicate Khenyeza is now taking over the team. Vilakazi resigned after leading Arrows and Khenyeza to second place in the DStv Premiership standings with 10 points after five games, including a 3-0 victory against SuperSport United just before the international break. However, they were unwilling to give him that upgraded package. Vilakazi, who triumphed in two DStv Diski Challenges with Arrows, was later named the head of technical operations for Chippa United. It would be intriguing to watch Khenyeza speak to the media in the post-match interviews because, since he shared the position with Vilakazi permanently, Kanu, as Vilakazi is known, has always done so. History of ...

Good news for South Africa: Serero signs with new club

Image
Thulani Serero, a midfielder from South Africa, has joined Khorfakkan Club of the UAE Pro League. Serero was unquestionably a fan favourite throughout his four seasons with Al Jazira and was also a stand-out performer in the league. But he departed the team in June, and ever since, he has been looking for a new team. After leaving Ajax Cape Town for its affiliate club, where he played six seasons and won four league titles, the 33-year-old midfielder has spent the previous 13 seasons abroad. After two seasons with Eredivisie team Vitesse, he then made the lucrative transfer to the Gulf, where he has spent the last four seasons as a star. He was introduced on Monday by Pitso Mosimane's Al Wahda and Khorfakkan Club, both of whom play in the same league. My view as a writer Most players these days seem to be going to the UAE, because of the money the clubs offer that side.

Mamelodi Sundowns dream: Nku is a player who has his eyes on the CAFCL

Image
Lesiba Nku, an attacking midfielder for Mamelodi Sundowns, wants to win the CAF Champions League alongside his team. The 27-year-old moved from the demoted Marumo Gallants to Masandawana at the start of the current campaign. With Gallants, where he enjoyed a tremendous season and helped them go to the CAF Confederations Cup semifinal, Nku needs little introduction to the Downs squad. He made it clear that winning the Champions League with Downs would be a wonderful way to introduce himself after barely missing out on the CAF championship with Bahlabane Ba Ntwaa last season. Nku spoke to Sundowns Joining Bafana Ba Style is a significant accomplishment for me and a development in my career. Winning the CAF Champions League would be a fantastic way to mark my debut at the club, and I am thrilled to be here. I am really anticipating the chance to join the squad and introduce my playing style and my confidence to the crowd. We may be able to win some hardware this season if we coopera...

Mouthpiece: Ramoreboli on facing Orlando Pirates After all, it is 11 versus 11 players on the field

Image
Morena Ramoreboli, the head coach of Jwaneng Galaxy, has expressed his thoughts on playing against the aggressive Orlando Pirates in the CAF Champions League match. On Sunday, September 17, at 3:00 p.m., the Galaxy will play host to the dominant Buccaneers in the first leg of the second preliminary round at the National Stadium. To get to this point, the Botswana Premier League champions defeated the Vipers SC of Uganda. To advance to the next round, Pirates eliminated Djabal Club of the Comoros. In addition to getting off to a strong start on the continent, the Soweto giants have excelled in home space.  Rmoreboli, a native of South Africa, claims that preparing for the Sea Robbers has not been simple. He acknowledged that although they would provide Jose Riveiro's team the respect they deserve, they would also be there to compete. Ramoreboli claims that preparing for pirate collision hasn't been simple. Everyone is eager to go on Orlando Pirates because they are a formidab...

Good News: Kgoloko Thobejane relocates

Image
Six months after leaving Som United, former Baroka FC coach Kgoloko Thobejane has found a new position. In February 2023, Thobejane gave up his position as Som's head coach. This occurred after Lebogang Mothibantwa entered the club. At the time, Mothibantwa was going to be named the assistant coach.  Postmasburg FC of the Northern Cape ABC Motsepe League has since named Thobejane as their head coach. With players capable of competing for promotion to South African football's second flight, Postmasburg are a very ambitious team.  After only four months on the job, Thobejane left Som, which finished second in Stream A, the previous season.  Given that he had won seven of the team's first nine league contests, the former Baggaga coach was clearly having a great time at Som. Having said that, Thobejane will be expected to continue what he was doing at Som before quitting. In an interview with  FARPost  in May 2023, Thobejane made a come get me plea to neighbo...
