  At Chippa United, Goodman Mosele has said that it was nice to be reunited with Morgan Mammila as a coach. Together, they played for Baroka, who defeated Orlando Pirates in the Telkom Knockout trophy final at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in the 2018–19 season. Mosele, who transferred from Baroka to Pirates before the 2021/22 season, was signed by the Chilli Boys on a loan deal through the end of the year. Mammila claimed that when the window opened to sign Mosele, he couldn't help but jump at the chance because he knew what he was going to get after his team's season-opening draw with Kaizer Chiefs.   According to the  iDiski Times   sources, Mabhuti Khenyeza will be in charge of Golden Arrows when they take on Stellenbosch on Saturday at 15:00 at Mpumalanga Stadium. As Vusi Vilakazi, his co-coach, suddenly quit on September 4 in order to pursue a better offer from the club's administration, sources indicate Khenyeza is now taking over the team. Vilakazi resigned after leading Arrows and Khenyeza to second place in the DStv Premiership standings with 10 points after five games, including a 3-0 victory against SuperSport United just before the international break.   Six months after leaving Som United, former Baroka FC coach Kgoloko Thobejane has found a new position. In February 2023, Thobejane gave up his position as Som's head coach. This occurred after Lebogang Mothibantwa entered the club. At the time, Mothibantwa was going to be named the assistant coach.  Postmasburg FC of the Northern Cape ABC Motsepe League has since named Thobejane as their head coach. With players capable of competing for promotion to South African football's second flight, Postmasburg are a very ambitious team.  After only four months on the job, Thobejane left Som, which finished second in Stream A, the previous season.  Given that he had won seven of the team's first nine league contests, the former Baggaga coach was clearly having a great time at Som. At Stars of Africa Academy, while Maswanganyi was a teenager, the two collaborated on projects. Since switching from SuperSport United to the Soweto giants, Maswanganyi has gotten right to work.  Vela Khumalo, the head coach of Kaizer Chiefs in the DStv Diski Challenge, has given an explanation for why three members of the first squad were used in the team's 1-1 draw with Orlando Pirates. Some fans had concerns when Mduduzi Shabalala, Wandile Duba, and Aden McCarthy were assigned to the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium starting line-up. All three of them were given promotions last year, and Shabalala has consistently been included in match-day teams. We wanted to give Mduduzi, Duba, and Aden game time, Khumalo said to Super Sport . The first-team side has been quite busy. The first team doesn't receive that much playing time, and we want results from them. They are still young and capable, thus they belong here.   The cancellation this weekend of two games at the King Zwelithini Stadium for safety concerns overshadowed Round 22 of the Hollywood Bets Super League. This comes after disturbances caused by a crowd that entered the match area brandishing weapons. The decision to cancel the doubleheader was made out of concern for everyone's safety following a discussion with the stakeholders, including stadium management, SAFA, and the national broadcaster who planned to stream the matches between Royal AM and City Lads as well as Durban Ladies and TS Galaxy. The two center backs for Kaizer Chiefs were a strong pair that helped the team win multiple trophies, including the Premier Soccer League championship twice.
